OSB assesses every major dating and social platform on its fraud prevention measures. Romance scammers find victims on these platforms. The platforms have a responsibility. OSB holds them to account.

Romance scammers do not operate in a vacuum. They operate on platforms that profit from user engagement — including engagement manufactured by scammers.

The OSB Platform Safety Index is the world's first systematic assessment of dating and social platforms on their anti-romance-fraud measures. Each platform is rated on five criteria and given an OSB Safety Score out of 100.

This index will be updated annually. Platforms that improve will see their scores rise. Platforms that do not will remain on record.
